All service work is carried out in our workshops by fully qualified technicians.
A full service includes,engine oil and filter, air filter, pollen filter (where applicable),diesel fuel filter, spark plugs (on petrol engines),
a 35 point check of your van and labour,also inc full computer diagnostic check.
Beware not all garages carry out computer diagnostic scans as part of their service schedule.
A timing belt change includes the timing belt, all idlers and labour.

Diagnostic Scans
We use VAGCOM (The same diagnostic equipment VW use.)
which is a system that allows us to interface with your vehicle using a laptop computer.
VAGCOM uses what is known in the trade as fault codes or trouble codes to let us know what the ECU is registering.
Sometimes you may see a little orange light on your dashboard that looks like an engine
(On diesels the glow plug light normally flashes) sometimes called the management light or mil light.
This means that your ECU has stored an error (fault code). Sometimes vehicles run fine or run rough or
don't run at all when this light light is on. You will see this light as a WARNING.
The ECU has inouts from sensors all over the engine and vehicle body.
If there is a problem with one of these sensors or reading, this is when the light comes on.
For example...If your crankshaft sensor fails.
The VAGCOM system can also be used to reset the dashboard service interval indicator and airbag lights.
